4Discovery is looking to hire an experienced QA/QC Analyst in the Tampa, Florida region. The applicant must work in Tampa, Florida.

This position is responsible for developing, overseeing, and independently testing software systems and databases.

Primary Duties:

  • Plan, design, implement, and execute testing processes and procedures to ensure software is compliant with federal regulations
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of QA testing environments
  • Collaborate with application managers, DBAs, network and software engineers, and technical leads to ensure the integrity, security, availability, reliability, and performance of technical architecture for testing
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve software testing processes and procedures
  • Coordinate, perform, and document testing, audits, and reviews
  • Conduct root cause analyses and quickly problem solve to determine the severity of the issue at hand
  • Work with the project team to report findings, develop action plans, and track progress throughout the duration of projects
  • Document, track, and update systems during the testing cycle using defect tracking software
  • Follow professionally recognized software development, quality assurance, and risk management standards
  • Adhere to written codes of conduct, policies and procedures, regulations, and laws
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and time management skills
  • Work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with project team members and stakeholders
  • Adapt to changing requirements by working effectively as part of a team and performing related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or another related field
  • 3-5 years of experience performing QA/QC and QA/QC management functions on both front-end and back-end technologies
  • Experience with and proficiency in using and testing multiple programming languages and database systems
  • Working knowledge of computing systems and the application development process, including computer equipment, programming languages, programming and analysis techniques, relational databases, operating systems, test planning and test methodologies, and test data management
  • Experience using defect tracking systems, project management systems, and general office software
  • Must pass both a background check and a conflict check to ensure impartiality throughout the duration of the project


  • Familiarity with or previous experience utilizing:
    • ISO 35.080 Software Standards
    • ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
    • ISO 25010:2011 Systems and Software Engineering
  • Previous experience working with enterprise software suites
