Scenario

Two companies that manufacture “Heads-up” fighter jet cockpit vision display technology were locked in a patent dispute. Central to the issue were the key dates on which engineers had created and modified specific components to the product’s design.

Solution

Our experts were hired by the Plaintiff’s patent attorneys to restore, catalog, authenticate dozens of legacy data tapes that were back-ups of the design database. Once restored, the data from the tapes was searched and examined for relevant electronic evidence that ultimately settled the dispute.
